Invincible LG has a hitter who says he can’t hit a wedge home run

“I didn’t feel good hitting today, but I’m glad I got a hit and a home run”.

LG’s Moon Sung-joo went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored, including a game-winning two-run arch in the eighth inning for Daegu’s Samsung Electronics on Saturday. LG beat Samsung 7-4 to snap a three-game losing streak.

“I didn’t feel good at the plate today, but I’m glad I got a hit and a home run,” Moon said.

When asked about the missed opportunity, he said, “I think I made contact thinking that if I hit the ball somehow, I would score a run. I was just trying to keep the ball inside and it didn’t work out.”

The super catch was the highlight. “I knew the ball was going to fall that way, so I was able to get a quick start. Looking back, I think I was lucky,” Moon said.

“I would like to thank the fans for traveling to Daegu, and I will do my best to continue to show my good form. I hope you will support us a lot.” He concluded the interview.

Coach Yeom Kyung-yup said after the game, “In the beginning of the game, Im Chan-kyu had many crises, but he did his job as a starter by overcoming them well, and then our winning group of Kim Jin-seong, Ham Deok-ju, Yoo Young-chan, and Ko Woo-seok finished the game well with good pitching.”

“In the offense, our captain, Oh Ji-hwan, was the center of the team when it mattered the most, and he was able to bring the whole game to a close with a big hit, and then we were able to score more runs and win the game,” he added. 스포츠토토

“Today was an important game that could have been another crisis, but I am grateful to the players for their concentration in the hot weather and for the victory,” applauded coach Yoon Kyung-yup.
