Donny van der Beek (Manchester United) could return to Ajax (Netherlands).
British media outlet The Sun reported on March 13 (ET) that, “Van der Vaart has offered a new route out of Manchester United. However, manager Eric ten Hagg is unlikely to be impressed with the move.
Van der Vaart was once touted as the present and future of the Netherlands. He led Ajax’s ‘renaissance’ alongside Van Gaal. Van der Vaart left Ajax to join United ahead of the 2020-2021 season. At the time, his transfer fee was £35 million. However, he only started four English Premier League (EPL) games in his 18 months at United. Van der Vaart moved to Everton on loan in the January 2022 winter transfer window. The 2022-2023 season seemed to be a reversal. Van Gaal took over at the club.
